At the moment in order to handle documents which contain images we have to temporarily store those images on the server because we are using the Markdown format for our processed documents which does not support inline images. The images have to live on the server as long as the user has the interface opened.
I thin for many using a public S&D service this would not be a major concern; and anyone who had the slightest concern could just use their own install.
